Slightly Silent Sunday

This made me smile today
I would like to have been reclining here this morning
To be sitting here, this lunch time
Having walked here and
Here.
To arrive here, to see a friend
To enjoy some refreshment
Before returning home.

    1. I'm fine thank you, enjoying the Australian open at the moment, so my sleep pattern is all over the place.
      Dreaming is nice!

  2. Aren't there some fabulous images out there CCL?!! Mm, got my dreamin' juices flowing!
My favourite is, the cabin porch with icicles!
Have a great week and trusting all is well (as is here, just been busy and un-motivated blog-wise!)
    Hugs

    1. I know why you are liking the icicles, you are too hot! I on the other hand would like to feel some warmth. One of my favourite things though is to sit outside wrapped up and cosy with a nice cup of tea, it used to be hot chocolate ( can't have that now though).
Glad to know you are ok, I'm sure your daughter is enjoying the tennis, Nadal played a sublime match the other day. Keep cool, hugs right back at ya :0) CCL xxx

    2. HAHA, I was watching the open last night! It was a match between a Casey? (Aussie) and a Canadian girl. I went to daughters for dinner and it was not open for discussion on what our TV viewing would be for the night! (I wanted to watch the last episode of Foyle's War!!) Anyhow daughter was awfully excited because there was a match with whats-his-name? Fedara?(sp?) and someone. If I could find a graphic it would be a face with eyes rolling. :)
You're onto me........yep the icicles because I'm blimen' well melting over here!

    3. I new it! Can't wait for federer to knock Murray out of the way Wednesday, this is playing havoc with my sleep pattern, by the final I will be properly on oz time, then have jet lag, it's worth it though. Xxx CCL

    4. Ah, Murray is it? I wonder what happened - haven't seen daughter so I wouldn't know if the tennis is over or still going on or WHAT!
It must be on at some dreadful time over there from what you say. Haha, where would they be without fans like you and daughter hey?!

  3. I just love that white bedroom, so stark and pure and devoid of everything.

    I hope you're feeling better.

  4. I'm pretty much feeling good thanks! Hope you are doing ok in the arctic temperatures, I was so pleased to read that your community rally for each other. Some how that little nook, so clean and uncluttered represents nothing else to do but rest, with a clear mind, well we can always dream.
    Stay warm xxx

  6. ah
ccl, daughter wasn't happy about nadal either! As I type she is at her place watching the open and I at home watching (you won't believe it) The Great British Bake-off (I think that's the title :)
I hadn't thought of your suggestion that I could have been sitting in the courts aircon and saved some home.
You asked about electricity and gas prices here - OUTRAGEOUS! Funny you asked as I did a post seemingly eons ago about that very thing. I haven't had gas in years but I believe it's on a par with electricity costs (so having gas is more a preference than any type of saving)
Our electricity bills come every 3 months and during our haha "winter" months its around $280 and summer ones vary between $380 - $450 That's mine anyhow and there's only (1) of me. Both daughters pay around the $600 mark every 3 months. How does yours compare with that?

  9. I couldn't not call by to say hello CCL, another year is about to roll around and I'm hoping like heck that everything is ok in your world, and if it's not, don't be shy to come out of hiding, blog friends await, quietly, to hold your hand if you need it. No pressure L, just quietly calling by to say hello and offer a hug.
    Rose.
